Roma Italian Restaurant & Pizza
About This Spot
Stepping into Roma Italian Restaurant & Pizza in the heart of Louisa feels like entering a welcoming corner of Italy nestled right on Main Street. The rhythm here is gentle and unhurried, inviting guests to settle in and savor a moment away from daily rush. The warmth of the bustling dining room, softened by familiar chatter and the clinking of glasses, creates a sense of community where neighbors and families find an easy, comfortable place to gather.
Roma’s atmosphere strikes a balance between casual and attentive, where the friendly energy of the staff adds a human touch that makes every visit feel personal. It's a spot where the pace allows for conversations to flow freely, and the occasional laughter of children playing nearby adds a lively but homely note to the experience. While the interior buzzes with life, there’s a laid-back charm that encourages guests to relax and enjoy the moment.
The menu here is an exploration in classic Italian flavors served with a certain familiarity that feels like a well-loved recipe passed down through generations. Whether you’re drawn by the tempting aroma of garlic knots or the inviting pull of a freshly baked pepperoni pizza, each dish tells a story of comfort and care. The kitchen’s thoughtful touch shows in the way the food comes out—warm, satisfying, and meant to be savored slowly, as part of a shared experience around the table.
What truly sets Roma apart is its ability to feel both like an everyday neighborhood spot and a destination for a casual night out. It's a place where the simple act of sharing a meal becomes a moment of connection, whether you’re enjoying a creamy Alfredo pasta or indulging in a slice of chocolate cake to close the evening. This is where tastes meet tradition, and hospitality feels genuine—giving a subtle reminder of the joy found in good company and honest food.

We haven't been back there in months because of our horrible experience there but I couldn't help but give them another try since I've been going there for the past few decades. Wow what a difference everything was awesome and service was excellent kids playing having fun and food was great and fast service. It's back to the way I remember it good job everyone and thank the owner getting it back in order. I'll be back next week with the kids

This has been one of favorite restaurants for years. It seems there is alot of turnover lately. Our waitress was extremely new and young. She did a good job. However another waitress came over and took our menu away even though we hadn't ordered our main course yet. The food was excellent as always, but the laid back atmosphere is gone. Cussing in Italian under his breath and not helping staff understand the menu would definitely help. I hope the owner's get back to the way it was. We love the Greek salad and the Roma's Absolute pizza

We each got a sub, and I have to say it was really good. The bread was perfectly toasted. The tomatoes were fresh. The meat and cheese were ample, and the dressing added just the right amount of kick. I would definitely go back.
